Tuscan in character. A medium intensity extra virgin olive oil, delicate and fruity with a light buttery flavour, subtle grassy aroma and a crisp peppery finish. A robust oil especially favoured by Italian food aficionados. Use with pesto, tapenades, sundried tomatoes or any strong Mediterranean flavours.

Matapiro Olives is a family-owned olive oil producer specialising in single estate, premium quality extra virgin olive oils. Since the first harvest in 2004, Matapiro has become New Zealand's most awarded olive grove, having consistently won numerous gold medals and most notably Best in Show in 2004, 2005 and 2006 at the prestigious NZ Extra Virgin Olive Oil Awards. Matapiro Olives is internationally recognised in the Italian sponsored "2007 Guide to the World's Best Certified Olive Oils".
