Matapiro Olives is a family-owned olive oil producer specialising in single estate, premium quality extra virgin olive oils. Since the first harvest in 2004, Matapiro has become New Zealand's most awarded olive grove, having consistently won numerous gold medals and most notably Best in Show in 2004, 2005 and 2006 at the prestigious NZ Extra Virgin Olive Oil Awards.
