A Tuscan variety. This full bodied extra virgin olive oil has a fresh, green fruity palate and a peppery finish to complement most food types. Especially delicious in pesto, marinades and dressings, as a dipping oil or drizzling over feta. It also adds an exciting new dimension to pastry and breadmaking.

Matapiro Olives is a family-owned olive oil producer specialising in single estate, premium quality extra virgin olive oils. Since the first harvest in 2004, Matapiro has become New Zealand's most awarded olive grove, having consistently won numerous gold medals and most notably Best in Show in 2004, 2005 and 2006 at the prestigious NZ Extra Virgin Olive Oil Awards. Matapiro Olives is internationally recognised in the Italian sponsored "2007 Guide to the World's Best Certified Olive Oils". The grove only produces premium quality extra virgin olive oils and no infused or secondary product.
